Why this Homepage?
Traveling around the world has become more and more normal for many people. Tourism is one of the fastest growing industries worldwide. Many people want to experience wildlife on their journeys. You can either see wild animals in the wild or in sanctuaries and conservation centers. This has actually become a very popular part of traveling. But many places aim to earn money from visitors, exploiting animals and not treating them good. Wildlife tourism can even be harmful for wild populations as animals are taken from the wild to display them to tourists. It is quite hard for outsiders to distinguish between good and bad places. On this Blog I will show you, which places you can visit or volunteer for with a clean conscience. I visit and evaluate all the places myself . I hope you enjoy your travel and love the ethical wildlife experiences!
The golden rules for ethical wildlife experiences:
1. You are not allowed to touch the animals
2. Main aim is to release the animals back to the wild
3. No breeding of animals that have to stay in captivity

I'm Adeline
I love animals – all animals! I have always committed myself to protect animals and wildlife.
I did study Wildlife Management in the Netherlands and Global Biodiversity Conservation in the UK. I worked for a German NGO as a campaign leader. One of my main campaigns was to educate people and travel agencies about the huge animal welfare and conservation problems regarding elephants in tourism. Furthermore, I saw, that there are so many more animals suffering at wildlife tourism attractions. So, I decided to start this Blog, in order to help animal lovers to find the right place! |
